Output windows for high-power CO₂ / high-energy lasers
MPCVD-grown diamond optical windows combining broad spectral transmission, high thermal conductivity, and excellent chemical stability—for high-power lasers, IR detection, and extreme-environment optical systems.
Diamond optical windows are based on CVD diamond, combining broad spectral transmission, ultra-high thermal conductivity, high hardness, and excellent chemical stability to meet both optical transmission and thermal management needs in high-power optical systems.
Suited to optical-window applications that demand high power density, high thermal load, or extreme-environment tolerance (high temperature, high pressure, strong radiation)—a functional materials choice at the intersection of optics and thermal management.
Diamond is among the materials with the widest optical transmission windows in nature. The theoretical transmission range spans ultraviolet–visible–infrared, with a refractive index of about 2.4 (visible–near-IR). Combined with intrinsic high hardness, high thermal conductivity, and chemical inertness, it suits high-power, high thermal-load, or highly corrosive optical environments.
Band-specific transmittance, optical-grade crystal metrics (e.g., dislocation density, impurity levels), and related indicators vary with thickness, crystal grade, and surface finishing; confirmed parameters follow the inspection report or custom-request confirmation.
